May 2007 usage stats
I plan on doing my monthly usage stats posts on the first non-weekend day after the first of the month, unless the first falls on a weekend. In that case, this post should come on the second non-weekend day of the month, as I plan on doing the blogtipping thing monthly from now on.
Also, the usage stats don't delve into my actual numbers, as they're embarrassingly low. Plus, they might get a little interesting because there are two blogs on the nitemarecafe.com domain. While I could do separate logs for each, I've decided to keep them joined for now.
The first thing I notice about my logs is that my old-style Arpanet visitor is back. I really should dig deeper into my logs and find out what's causing that to appear, but it's not a priority.
The second thing I notice is that the non-US country with the most hits to my blog was Japan, followed by Germany with about half as many hits. They're usually represented in my logs, but not so high in the list. The rest of the hits are spread across about a dozen different countries.
Analysis of my logs is done by The Webalizer. Any irregularities with my data is a result of the way it does it's analysis.
